The Printz Award is given each year by the Young Adult Library Services Association for the best work of fiction for teens. This year's winner is Going Bovine by Libby Bray (Delacorte). This is a great read, full of quirky and yet lovable characters which include a punk angel, a dwarf sidekick, a yard gnome and a mad scientist on a journey to Disney World and to save the world, and yes, it does have something to do with cows and MCD thus the bovine ref. You won't forget this one.

Make the most of summer- read a good a book!
This book seems so weird and yet it hits you where you live. Modern life as we know it seems to parade through this crazy quest, and in the end,you see yourself and the journey in a better light. Not to mention, it is hysterically funny in the midst of being totally serious.
